Billing & Insurance

We participate with most local and many national insurance plans. However, it is your responsibility to understand whether your insurance has limits on the doctors you can see, or the services you can receive.

If you provide complete and accurate information about your insurance, we will submit claims to your insurance carrier and receive payments for services. Depending on your insurance coverage, you may be responsible for co-payments, co-insurance or other deductible amounts. We will ask you to pay for co-payments and high deductible balances at the time of service.

Surgical patients will receive an estimate from our practice before you go to the hospital for your procedure. The estimate is based on the allowances and the contracted fee schedule with your insurance carrier. Sometimes your doctor may need to do additional procedures, if this happens you should expect to see additional payment notifications from your insurance plan.

Having a baby? Please contact your H.R. Department or your insurance plan for details on how to enroll your newest family member.

Receiving a bill from a laboratory? Some insurance plans ask us to have the laboratories bill your insurance company directly. We will give the laboratory your demographic and insurance information to ensure proper processing. We encourage you to speak directly with the laboratory if you have bill related questions.

We are always available to answer any additional billing related questions you may have.  Please call Monday – Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. – 3:00p.m. on Friday at (703) 525-8800, option #4.
